Charlie Satow

BA (European Social & Political Studies) University College London.

Politics to degree level; Maths & English, History & Spanish A-level; Latin, Greek, French GCSE; 13+ & 11+; 7+.

I studied European Social and Political Studies at University College London, graduating top of my class in 2015. Before that I was at St Paul’s School where I was a John Colet scholar and gained A-levels in Maths, History, Spanish and Ancient Greek.

I’m an enthusiastic tutor with experience across all ages, from 7+ English and Maths right up to undergraduate-level Politics. I like to keep things fun and high-energy, within a clear structure for achieving results. I tutor 7+, 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance, as well as French, Ancient Greek and Latin to GCSE, and History and Spanish to A-level.

I have a keen interest in the subject of teaching, spending my summers at university volunteering on an education project in rural Uganda. I also mentored younger students and pupils of a local school while at university.

In my spare time I campaign for political action on climate change. I also recently returned from Colombia, where I was working as a freelance journalist stationed with one of the country’s largest political movements.

Promise, 19: “In all, choosing Charlie as a tutor in my first year was definitely a great decision; the success of his tutoring gave me the confidence I needed to continue with my university years.”
